Why?

I have seen similar maps that wipe out all Christian connection to the land, written solely in Arabic, that redefine the area as Palestine for Palestinians. I wanted a map that embodied my love of Israel and my deep feeling of connection to the land where my religion was born. Especially at this current moment where Israel is under attack.

The Journey

  • Development

    I spent a lot of time researching the most relevant locations to include. There were many steep learning curves, including learning the tooling needed to generate the relevant files for the prototypes.

  • Detail

    I deepened my knowledge of the faith in the process. I took an exorbitant amount of time choosing the breakup of the country into pieces that actually had meaning. I researched the rivers that existed back in biblical times so that I could capture and reflect them in the map.

  • Satisfaction

    In truth, at the moment when I managed to assemble the final prototype in my own home, I was so happy with how it added to my own decor, anything after will just be a bonus.

Christmas Present

My daughter ordered this for me for Christmas and was told she was the first order ever. I imagine there will be a lot more! I just put my map on the wall and I love it! The instructions were easy to follow, I had plenty of sticky dots (and I was generous with them). Thank you for such a unique and amazing item.

What size is the map?

It measures 70" by 28"

How long will shipping take?

It really depends on your location. Within the US - it should be super quick. We hold our product locally.

⁠What is the map made of?

When designing the map, we tried hardwood samples but each species moves differently as the seasons change and we didn't want to risk having issues with the map pieces fitting together. We settled on plywood as it is very stable, and chose aesthetic wood grain and coloring choices to achieve the desired effects.

⁠What is included in the package?

You get the map, a set of pins with large wooden heads and enough double sided tape to mount this on your chosen surface

⁠Can I make a bespoke version?

An interesting question. Perhaps be in touch with us directly and we can discuss. As this is not a dropshipped item, but designed and built bespoke by me, there might be some ability to work with you. It most likely will be expensive though.
